Fisherman's Rest offers a range of added extras:

A cafe open to visitors during the day with a select menu and offering requested meals to residents at all times, with a gift shop selling local crafts.

A good cell phone network coverage (MTN) (Cellnet is available in most locations). Internet connectivity is available by prior arrangement.

An excellent venue for Workshops and Retreats

The cafe, nature reserve and Gift Shop are open to day visitors. The swimming pool is NOT available to day visitors unless a prior arrangement has been made with the management.

Fisherman's Rest has several 4x4 vehicles available to guests for hire and offers connections to Blantyre and excursions to the parks and places of interest, by prior arrangement.
