
Fisherman’s Rest is set in a magnificent fifty-acre private park on the lip of the escarpment overlooking the Great Rift Valley. The park is filled with indigenous trees and plants and home to a multiplying population of antelope.
We offer a number of properties designed to suit the needs of families, groups and the individual visitor.
Our swimming pool is available to all our residents. From its location two thousand feet up the escarpment if offers magnificent views over the Shire Valley.
The Lodge has three bedrooms, one en suite and two with a shared bathroom, a lounge, dining room, khonde and Kitchen for self-catering groups.
The Woodland Cottage, surrounded by a khonde has two en-suite bedrooms and self contained family accommodation.
The Tea House has four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small lounge, and a larger lounge/dining room with fireplace. There is also a khonde with a great view of the Shire Valley.
Located in the Nature Reserve are our two Bushcamp Hides, double bedded with shower and bathroom facilities.
Refreshments and meals are available at the Tea House where a Gift Shop is also located.
