Fishermans' Rest Community Trust has a 1 acre site within walking distance of FR consisting of a multipurpose building, sports ground and borehole for community use.                                                                                                                                       The work here is varied but consists of the following main areas:

Community Transformation;
through people learning to love and serve Jesus
health promotion (i.e. a malaria education and mosquito net distribution program)
selling locally made goods in the FR Gift Shop
we hope to start literacy training very soon.

Leadership Training;
we host a Bible Teaching Ministries centre which provides regular Bible teaching for local church leaders. We also run from Tilitonse a weekly youth Bible study and meet with individual young people to help them grow as Christians.

Children's Ministry;
after school club consisting of sport, drama, Bible teaching, song, games and arts and crafts
football coaching for boys                                                                                                                                                                                  a pre-school and homework club.
